Some of the greatest experiences I ever had.. witnessing and photographing the launches of several of the first space shuttles from 1981 through 1983. The sight was beyond belief and the sound was a completely different dimension.. the air was literally crackling with the vibrations. My original shot, a 30-year old Kodachrome transparency, is in excellent condition.
